Our primary goal is to help people navigate through this grief journey. To ensure that you do not have to deal with this devastating loss alone. We are here to support your emotional needs with a kind hand and information, resources, and offline events. You will be apart from an inclusive community that understands first hand the struggle of losing a mother.
I Was Her Angel, primarily serves adult children; However, all are welcome. Indeed, you will be a part of a loving, safe, nonjudgmental environment, a place where everyone has suffered the loss of a mother or parent.
Our hosts, facilitators, and online admins are volunteers who have lost their mothers as well.
We are a community peer website with a turbo twist because we offer offline activities as well as online activities. Open expression and honesty about grief are encouraging attributes to our members.
We are not here to help you forget about your mother; we genuinely want to hold your hand or extend our shoulder for you to lean on. We will travel this new reality together, the new life that we must come to grips with but in due time.
While on this challenging road to healing, we hope that each one of you continues to carry your mother with you. Hopefully, you began to feel like your old self again. The possibility of exciting life-changing milestones will continue. Please do not give up on life; your mom would not want that for you. Live your best life keeping in mind that a part of your heart is in heaven.
