If you’re looking for books about the loss of your mother or grief you’ve come to the right place this is a one-stop-shop book listing to help you on your grief journey. Please check out the reviews of any book you decide to purchase to assure that the reading is helpful to you and your situation.

Our grief book club has grown into something truly special—a safe, inclusive space for adults of all ages who have experienced the loss of a mother, parent, or caregiver. We know grief comes in many forms. Some are grieving a foster mother who stepped into their lives with love, while others are processing more complicated feelings about a parent they didn’t get along with. By embracing these diverse experiences, we’re building a community that sees and validates every kind of grief story.

To keep things transparent, we also want members to know that our book selections and activities are made possible through Amazon and other partner organizations, which means we do receive payment when books or materials are purchased. This allows us to keep the club going strong and to create even more resources for healing. In addition to powerful books, we’ve added “adult grief games”—interactive activities that help us connect, reflect, and sometimes even share a laugh together in the midst of loss.

This is more than just a book club—it’s a circle of support, understanding, and renewal for every adult walking the journey of parental loss, no matter their age or story.
